How long did it take to get a diagnosis ? Many years - I was first diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease.

What are your current symptoms? pain every where-blurry eyes, brain fog, so very tired.

Other clinically diagnosed conditions ? DDD, Sleep apnea, depression

Are you still working? yes-barely

What line of work? factory -assembly line

Are you disabled from Fibromyalgia? yes at times and getting worse

Have you filed for disability? no been looking into it

Major illnesses ? Migraines, sleep apnea, DDD

Does exercise help? and if so, what kind ? walking I do it because the doctor said too. I try to only walk on the good days.

Have you ever have a long lasting virus?  a few.

How has FM affected your life? I used to be an outgoing person in the middle of everything. Loved people, sports, family activities, talking. Now I would rather stay at home most of the time. I don't talk as much and more private. My loves now are TV, Computer and bed. Very sad but most days I just want to stay in my bed.

What makes symptoms worse? stress- work-overdoing good days- cold

What makes you feel better? Heat pad and rest

Been admitted to a hospital for pain? no I just stay in bed and cry

What remedies or medications have you tried? Lyrica and had horrible side effects. Dizzy and really confused. Heat pad.

What results did the remedies have ? Hate the meds but heat is usually good if I take the time to plug the heat pad in but some times I just to tired and hurting to  even plug it into the wall.

Comments I am missing more and more days at work. I am afraid to tell people because they think I am a whiny , lazy and worthless person. I wish I could just stay in my bedroom forever. God and my family is what keeps me going each and every day. Support is the most important thing and person with FM needs. So any family members reading this please support you love one. It is a very challenging time for them. God Bless all of you and I hope you all have a pain free day.
